Decisions, Decisions...

We heard back from T's Geneticist in Salt Lake City this week and Travis qualifies for the rapamycin/sirolimus drug trial.  The MRI scans showed T has a plexifom tumor volume increase of 33%, to qualify for this drug trial the tumor growth had to be > or equal to 20%.  Yikes!  We are collecting more information about this drug and drug trial, seriously considering and researching the pros and cons.  This is not an easy yes/no decision given Travis' issues; complex, fortunately non life-threatening at this moment.  We are still gathering information, researching and talking with different doctors about their concerns/potential concerns of this trial.

Some good news...T's shoes Shriners had made with a lift for his right foot arrived today.  He's so excited to get his Lightning McQueen shoes.  They are pretty cool looking too.  We bought these 2 sizes too big since he has a pair being made in Denver.  Those are the same Lightning McQueen shoes and we'll be able to pick them up when we are in Denver on Tuesday for his orthopedic appointment.  It'll be nice that he's able to have his shoes with lifts again, they really help how he walks and his alignment.

Thank you for all your continued prayers, thoughts, and support through this process.
