Travis felt well enough to go to school on Halloween and do a little trick-or-treating on our street. He enjoyed his class party, costume parade in his school, getting candy and handing out candy. At school Travis was a Lightning hockey player (team Nolan and Barrett play on) and a Penguin hockey player at night.

The results of the virus testing showed that Travis did not have adenovirus, the virus the docs suspected he had. The white blood cell counts looked good and some of the other blood work showed inflammation. I took T back to his pediatrician on Tuesday (Oct 29th) as the dr wanted to look Travis over to rule out other issues, namely Kawasaki. Fortunately, Travis did not fit the pattern of this disease and he did not need to be sent over for an echocardiogram...whew and Praise God!
Travis stayed home from school on Wednesday, you could tell he didn't feel good by looking in his eyes. Wednesday afternoon he took a huge 4 hour nap, but felt well enough to go to school for most of the day on Thursday. Travis returned back to school today and made it the whole day.

Tomorrow (Tuesday) Travis returns to see Dr. Viskochil for a routine rapamycin exam. I doubt we will have the volumetric results back from NCI, but you never know. Thursday brings a regular appointment with the ortho guys at Shriners. Prayers for peace of mind and rest. Thank you for joining us on this journey.
