Today we secured flights for Travis and I to travel to NIH through Miracle Flights for Kids. We leave this Sunday (Feb 23rd) and return the evening of Wed, Feb 26th. We travel on Southwest Airlines for each segment, direct on the way to NIH and a layover at Chicago-Midway on the return. Our flight times allow us to take the free shuttles from NIH to the airport. NIH handled our reservations at the Children's Inn, like a Ronald McDonald House. Travis receives his first dose of Peg-interferon a week from today, just 3 weeks after his MRI.
