This afternoon was Travis' spring SEP, basically student-teacher-parent conference. Travis, with the help of his teacher (she's fabulous), identifies things he's doing great, goals to work on, how he will achieve those goals and we state how we can help him at home. All students in the district (maybe even a local or state mandate) has a SEP in the fall and spring. Travis met his goals from the fall and has new ones for the spring. Way to go Travis!!! These goals are separate than the IEP goals and take into account his abilities.
Tonight while brushing Travis' teeth, we identified another mouth sore. This one is on the top on the left side. Again, he didn't say anything until the toothbrush was close by. Thinking we caught this one early too.
