Travis continues to make great strides in physical therapy and "graduates" to PT at Shriners once a month. :) Way to go Travis!! T worked hard and made huge gains in balance, endurance, walking, coordinating, etc. From his physical therapist's standpoint, most of the issue T faces now when walking relates to the angle of T's left lower leg. One of the 2 surgeries in T's future will correct the leg angle (valgus deformity), so not a PT issue.
At this point, not much else can be done PT-wise to improve where T is at the moment, not necessarily a bad thing considering the huge advancements T's made. As Travis resumes the rapamycin, the number of genetics appointments will increase, so a decrease in PT balances things out.
Travis (and the rest of the family) are excited about the upcoming "field trip" as T calls it. Each day he asks several times, "How many more wake-ups till our field trip?". ;) He's excited to see the CTF car, race car drivers and meet new drivers.
