Arrived Safely in Florida

Everyone was feeling excited (and healthy) as we got up early this morning to catch our planes to Florida. This was the first time Travis and Barrett have flown and they did great. We had a smooth flight and made the connection in Houston. It was odd flying into Houston and not leaving the airport by car (my parents live less than 30 miles from the airport).

We met up with a long-known friend of ours from when Scott summer interned on Kwajalein back in 1996 and his family for dinner. The weather in Florida is beautiful, the locals call it cool. We left Salt Lake City in single digits (F) above zero and the inversion/smog/haze to arrive in Tampa with temps in the 60s.

You can feel the excitement for Walt Disney World in the air and we'll visit there for 2 days across the various parks. Then it's time for Daytona and Kennedy Space Center after the weekend.

We are so thankful to have the wonderful support, prayers and thoughts of family, friends and those that have heard our story/situation that we've yet to meet. I was thinking of the phrase "God is good, all the time. All the time, God is good." lots today.
