Travis got his "Nemo boot" last Friday at Shriners. He wasn't too sure about walking with it at first. Luckily for him (and us), they had vendors in the lobby at Shriners and those vendors had CANDY. The Orthotist wanted to make sure the boot fit Travis good and wasn't rubbing anywhere on his leg. All looked good after ~10 minutes of walking. :) See the pictures below.
We saw his Orthopedist in the lobby while we were there and he was glad to see T walking (even if we had to trick T). He was with 2 other doctors with him, so I think I've met most of the docs at Shriners. While Travis and one of the docs were walking, his Orthopedist and the other doc were talking about T's walking style. She asked if T had a "8 plate", a medical instrument that can pull T's knee back out, on the left side. She said he was young, but may benefit. T's Orthopedist said not yet and T's a little more complicated due to his large tumor. It's interesting listening to doctors speak to each other about your child's issues, even more interesting when you can understand what they are talking about.
Travis continues to do well and LOVES Pre-K. His school picture was very cute, need to figure out how to put it on here. He has another mouth sore, but I think we caught it early and it's healing pretty fast.

Thank you for your continued prayers and support for Travis and our family. More updates and pics after the walk.
