Travis at Kart Racing

There's something about a race track that renews Travis' spirit. We have a friend from hockey that does Kart races and he saved room on his kart for a CTF/Racing4Research sticker. Thanks Shannon! This weekend was the first race he did with the sticker on his kart and since Travis was feeling a little better, we decided to go out to Miller Motorsports Park to cheer him on. This is the same track where Travis met Justin Bell back in April of 2012 (click here for that fun day). Travis gave Shannon a CTF bracelet and wished him good luck, we got there right before the start of the 2nd heat.

Unfortunately it wasn't a podium finish for Shannon on Saturday; however, Travis had a good time being around racing (along with Nolan and Barrett) and that is a WIN.  :) I forgot to get a picture of Travis and Shannon by the kart, guess we'll have to go out there again to cheer him on.
