Overall Travis had a good appointment with the GI doctor this morning, Dr. Jackson. Travis' pediatrician, Dr. Swensen, also stepped in for this appointment since he was already at Primary's. T has had great pediatricians all his life and for that we are VERY thankful.
Since the last time T saw Dr. Jackson, things have improved GI-wise; however, there is still a little more that we can do. Without going into specifics since T may want to read this in the future, we're to have him sit after meals to train his body to go instead of waiting for several days at a time. Dr. Jackson feels that given T's past 6 month history and that T's bladder works, Travis is fully capable of achieving Dr. Jackson's goal (both with muscle and nerves). The homework will add time to our daily routines and I'm not looking forward to getting up earlier, yet it will be worth it in the long run. All day today the great song from "Scrubs" keeps running through my mind, one of the funniest segments of many funny segments. ;) No tests run on Travis though.
Our thoughts and prayers move to Friday's appointment at Shriners.
