...and don't come back ANY day!!! Travis has been plagued by a bug for the past 8 days, the poor kid. Last week T had the week off for Kindergarten testing, so he didn't miss any school then. He was feeling better on Monday, although you could tell his energy level wasn't normal. By 11a, he was worn out and I took him home to rest up for his class field trip.
This morning Travis was more than ready to go to school and the field trip. He had a lot of fun with his class and their reading buddies class. Our group went to the playground first, then to the house to learn about daily pioneer life, then to the livery to pet animals (chicks, rabbit, goats, lambs). The guy at the livery took a special interest in Travis and brought over the animals he could pick up for Travis to pet.

You could tell that Travis was wearing down throughout the morning (even spending most of the time in the chair) and he was ready to go home when the bus arrived back at school. I checked him out of school for the rest of the day and he promptly took a nap when we got home. He was more than ready for bed tonight. Praying he gets the rest he needs to get over this bug. If he is not better by the end of the week, I'm to contact his pediatrician and we'll go from there.
