Travis had his last day of preschool today and did great during the program.

We heard back from the Pre-Kindergarten Special Ed coordinator for Salt Lake City schools and we talked about T starting Pre-K classes this fall in a regular ed class. The school she felt would be the best for his circumstances also has a Special Ed class next door. This year T was in a regular pre-school and did just fine in areas outside of his gross motor skill delays.
Tomorrow Travis has the end of course 7 blood draw...really, we've gone through 7 4-week courses already?!? As long as he's in target range, his next blood draw will be for the end of course 8 rapamycin level check.
Hotel life is good, we're not here too often due to the boys' various activities. We have spent several evenings at the pool and Travis tried playing in the "baby" pool the other night. He is getting tired of the hotel life and is ready to go home, although he's a trooper through this. I'm sure it has to be confusing to have your toys packed up, your house empty, live in a hotel, and yet still live in the same town. I'm thinking it will come together when he sees his stuff in our house in Salt Lake City.
I'm so so so glad to hear that T's tumor is stable!!! I told you that it was his turn. ;)
ReplyDeleteAnd I can imagine that living in the hotel is a little confusing for him. We just had a new roommate move in with us (my BFF). Sara thinks she's her aunt, has no clue they aren't related, and it took a couple days for Sara to understand she was living with us now and would be there all the time. But Sara now gets its her home too, but she was really confused at first.
