I heard from the research coordinator late yesterday afternoon and Travis' rapamycin levels were in range again from last Friday's blood draw. :) YES!!! Thank you God. Travis' next blood draw will be on Friday, May 27th for the regular draw at the end of course 7.
We're still waiting to hear the results of the volumetric MRI analysis, these can take up to 3 weeks. Hopefully all comes back good with that report.
Last week after Travis' blood draw, he was having a fun time talking with the nurse that does the "poke". The conversation went something like this...
Travis..."You're a doctor."
Nurse..."No. I'm a nurse."...
Travis..."You're not a nurse, you're my friend."
He's such the charmer. We all were about in tears from his sweet sentiment.
