I heard from the research coordinator this afternoon and Travis' rapamycin level is back in the target range. Woohoo! :) He seems to be doing just fine with his new dose. Fortunately the repeat draw to have 2 consecutive weeks in the target range can be done when he has his end of course blood draw this Friday, no fooling.
He will have another MRI at the end of April along with the end of course 6 exam and labs. He'll also see the PA at Shriners during that time since we are there and things changed so much from Oct to Feb. They may make another mold of his leg to get him fitted for the next size brace. Then again, maybe not since we'll be moving there and can stop by the hospital to have that done.
Travis continues to do well with his clamshell brace for the tibia. He still likes looking at his "wrinkles" when we take the brace off, the imprint his socks make on his leg. ;) We are so thankful there are such wonderful resources available to help him through his journey with NF.
