We heard from the research coordinator today and Travis' rapamycin level from last week's blood draw was below the target range. :( Poor kid. The doctors want a repeat blood draw tomorrow (Fri, Mar 11th) and we'll see where we go from there based on that result. Travis did grow 1cm from early February to early March, so that can play a role in the decreased rapamycin level.
We are already getting things lined up for his end of course 6 appointments in Salt Lake City at the end of April. His exam with Dr. Viskochil and the MRI are scheduled and we are coordinating with Shriners for his appointment with Mike Pond. Between now and then, weather permitting we will be with the wonderful people with the Colorado Chapter of the Children's Tumor Foundation as participants in the St. Patrick's Day parade in Denver. Fun times!
We are hoping the decreased level is related to his recent growth spurt, he's quite the tall kid. Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers.
