Back to School

I'm thrilled to report that Travis' Kindergarten teacher will be his 1st Grade teacher!!! Ms Carla is amazing for Travis and he works so hard for her. She understands Travis and his confidence increased tremendously in her class. She understands the value of Travis' best work and sees the effort he puts into his work.

We attended "Back to School Night" tonight and it was obvious that Ms Carla worked hard all summer moving classrooms and getting prepped to teach 1st Grade. She prepared a great slideshow for the 1st Graders to watch and we all love the scene from "Finding Nemo" where Nemo is waking his dad for the first day of school. In fact, we watched that fun scene again tonight. :)

Ms Carla had the kids write their names on a form and Travis did great writing his name in a small space, Ms Carla even commented how good he did (again, she sees how hard he works). Travis also has a locker this year.

Travis' teacher is very creative and has many wonderful, fun ideas to help the students learn. Her students received a bag of goldfish with the heading below. I have a feeling T will have another great school year. :)
