I spoke with the specialty pharmacy through our insurance today and they approved Travis' rapamycin prescription. The pharmacy will overnight the medicine tomorrow (Thurs) via UPS. No additional paperwork was needed by insurance. Wow...
Since we are following the protocol outlined by the drug trial Travis, T will begin taking the rapamycin after his next MRI. Currently the MRI is scheduled for Jan 15th, but that date may be able to be moved up to allow T to begin taking the medicine sooner.
We are thankful for the support and prayers for Travis and our family.
