We heard the results of Travis' MRI and lab results, all good. His triglyceride level was in the 100-150 range instead of 300+ in the mid-October blood draw. Great news! No cholesterol medicine nor change in drug trial dose.
The Salt Lake City radiologist report stated that Travis' plexiform (nerve tumor) was stable when compared to the July MRI. Praise God! This MRI will not be sent off for volumetric analysis since it's not part of the drug trial MRI timeline, this was for the doc since he follows T so close. The MRI didn't show a physical reason why he's more sensitive during changes and exams, so we have some more investigating to do to find the cause (more self aware, etc).
He has a regular appointment at Shriners next week. Hopefully nothing will happen between now and then so they can get standing (weight bearing) x-rays. Those would the first ones since February. It'll be interesting to see how his fracture is healing and if anything has changed significantly.
He's back to his normal walking again. :) He still vents his frustrations out to me frequently, it has progressively getting worse over the past 3 months, before Pre-K. The pediatrician says it's common for kids his age to experience this, even those without all his medical issues. We still need to find a good plan though.
Thank you for all your prayers, support, thoughts, and encouragement. This week has been one of the hardest emotionally I've faced in a while.
