Day 6 Travis' Make-A-Wish

Our sixth day on Travis' Wish brought a day at sea as our cruise ship headed back to Ft. Lauderdale. We really enjoyed spending time enjoying different amenities on the ship, tours, and more play. Another day of picture perfect weather ahead of us, just like the entire cruise.
A beautiful day ahead
Barrett after breakfast
"Washy, washy" with Travis, she gave him some great bling.
After breakfast we "cruised" around the ship, Travis with cars in hand for some racing action. We all know T's #alwaysracing. We also found our way to the front of the ship, braving the breeze from cruising speed. Totally worth it for the views
Anything converts to a racetrack
Nolan "king of the world"
Travis taking a look off the bow of the ship
Kelly & Scott on the front
Taking a break from racing for air hockey
We gathered for the galley tour in the morning, one of the surprises from Royal Caribbean and Make-A-Wish. For a ship that feeds over 3000 guests and 1000 crew everyday, the kitchen needs to be big and efficient. The behind the scenes tour provided us a great appreciation for the crew you don't see in day-to-day interactions. It's also amazing to learn the number of dishes they expect to break each day on the ship (maybe one of the kids or Scott remembers that number).
Always wear gloves
Lots of prep work
So many trays
Not very wide
Long galley
The warmers for the food are very hot, these people work hard
Thank you!!!
We headed back to the room to change and onto the next activities: Teen Program for Nolan and pools for the rest of us. Travis picked out a dolphin as a souvenir from Cozumel and "introduced" it to Winter. During our bridge tour, the crew stated they usually see dolphins arriving/departing Cozumel (the only place we didn't see dolphins).

B on the Promenade
We met up with Nolan after lunch to watch him and Barrett on the Flowrider. Lots of entertainment during those times, lots of brave people too.

Travis took a break from watching the Flowriders to play another round of mini-golf. Lots of great memories made on that course...lots of fun too!

Silly times with Mom
The time arrived for us to head to the Ice Show as their special guests. To skate on a regular rink is one thing, but a moving ship adds another dimension. As a part of the partnership with Royal Caribbean, we met the cast after the show and in true Travis fashion an added behind-the-scenes tour.
Ready for the ice show
Fun times
"Freeze Frame"
Meeting the cast after the performance
Talking with the cast
Deep in conversation

They served lobster for our last dinner on the ship...so good. More fun times awaited us for the evening, including nighttime mini-golf and last trips to the arcade and sweet shops. Not surprising to anyone, only a few cents remained on the $100 arcade credit. The NASCAR races cost $0.75 each and each time you won you received a free race...the kids completed many NASCAR races during our time on the ship.
Yummy lobster dinner!!
Air hockey with Dad
Barrett's top scores at Talladega
Lots of racing between these 2
Not sure how B's ball landed here...that's talent
So many desserts, so little time...
The reality of the cruise ending approaching hit all of us as we started saying our goodbyes to the crew that made Travis' Wish so amazing. Much appreciation to all those involved with creating this amazing time for Travis and our family!!
