Thank you to our friends Diana and Savanna for meeting up with us today and taking us around. We greatly appreciate being able to catch some fun in the midst of all the appointments. The beautiful November weather made it perfect to spend part of the day outside. We stopped at Georgetown Cupcakes in Bethesda for delicious treats and then to visit the memorial for a friend. As we traveled to and through DC we spotted the Washington National Cathedral, Potomac River, Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, the Capitol building, Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, Smithsonian Natural History Museum, Jefferson Memorial, the Pentagon, and so much more. So amazing to see so much US history.
We spent the greatest amount of time at the National Air and Space Museum and the Natural History Museum after enjoying a food truck lunch. While tired at each location today, I think T enjoyed seeing some things and will be excited to describe the places to Nolan and Barrett when we return.
