Travis took a fall down the bleachers, he says 3 steps, during Nolan's second hockey game on Saturday. He is fine, scary moments though. The mom of one of Nolan's teammates is and ER nurse and she came right over to check him out. She said he looked good and was acting appropriately right after it happened. She provided us with info on things to look out for a potential concussion. Fortunately, Travis never showed signs of a concussion and we did wake him a few times Saturday night. He has a goose-egg on his forehead and a sore nose, but that seems to be the extent of things. He was walking all over the place today. Whew!
God is so good! He had several nurses at the rink when this happened and all came over to help make sure he was OK. Scott took Nolan to his hockey game today, Travis stayed back with me since I had committed to selling wreaths at church before we knew of the hockey tournament. Scott said no less than 20 people asked him about Travis and were hoping he was OK.
