Travis had a great Sunday, I guess any day he starts off watching a race is a great day. :) We moved the Wii upstairs, so he had a great time playing various racing games. He felt pretty good throughout the day and enjoyed seeing his visitors and the Lea's who brought Nolan and Barrett home from our church (Christ United Methodist) family camp. He used his walker to get around the house, mainly the bathroom and dining room, and is getting quite fast.

Monday brought another hard day. He woke up with a low-grade fever and even moving from the bed to the sitting up on the couch kept his fever between 100.3 and 100.6F. We called the surgeon's office and they said this can happen from the trauma of the femur break, caught a little something at the hospital, from surgery itself, or who knows what. It would be too early for incision infection at this time. If the fever increases, he feels worse, etc. we're to take him to the pediatrician. He had another long nap from noon to around 3:30p and felt better when he woke up. :) T wanted to play with his planes after dinner and even felt up to attending the neighborhood movie night. It was a good test for me to see how to maneuver T around by myself. We passed.

Travis sees Dr. Jones, orthopedic surgeon this Friday morning for the first follow-up appointment. We are so grateful and thankful for all the help, borrowed items, prayers, support, and more as we go through this new journey.
